The Inaugural South African Amapiano Music Awards have arrived!!!

Amapiano fever is officially in the air.  October 23rd, Amapiano’s biggest night takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre as the genre’s biggest stars land for the inaugural South African Amapiano Music Awards (SAAMA) 2021.

With the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in South Africa, what was going to be an exclusive VIP invite-only Awards Ceremony has now been officially opened to the public with a limited number of tickets availabe for sale at computicket.  The main hosts for the night are Moshe Ndiki, Zola Ayabulela Mhlongo and Robot Boii.  Appearances by some of Mzansi’s A-listers will keep  red carpet host, 5FM’s Zanele Potelwa busy.

With nominees in categories that incude ‘Viral Song Of The Year’, ‘Best Act’, ‘Street Dancer’, ‘Artist Of The Year’, and live performances by the likes of Kamo Mphela, Sir Trill, Pabi Cooper, Mr Jazziq, Nhlanhla Nciza, Amaroto, and Boohle along with other prominent Amapiano acts this is a night not to be missed.  Dubbed “Amapiano’s Biggest Night”, this is set to be the biggest Amapiano gathering on the continent.  The Road to SAAPA 2021 has officially begun!
