REVIEW

by DJ IC for Drums Radio

Kususa’s story began in 2016 when the duo joined forces to craft their debut EP, Kusuka Sukela. Since then, they’ve enchanted audiences worldwide. Their breakout moment came in 2017 with a remix of DeMajor’s Traveller featuring Lizwi—a track that found its way into Black Coffee’s Ibiza 17 Appreciation Mix and later, Defected’s Ibiza 2018 Compilation.

Building on this success, Kususa’s remix of Cornelius SA’s Feel It Now earned them a South African Music Awards nomination, solidifying their status as trailblazers. They’ve also shared stages with legends like Black Coffee, performing at prestigious events like Ultra South Africa and the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival.
