Major League DJz sign with Atlantic Records

At the forefront of Amapiano’s surge into the global consciousness, South African duo Major League DJz score another first.  Ahead of their headline show at O2 Brixton in May,  Banele and Bandile Mbere took to social media today to announce that they have signed an international recording deal with major US label Atlantic Records.

It’s been a crazy journey for your boys and we would love to thank every single person that has been behind us all the way through it. “PIANO TO THE WORLD” was just a saying that we believed in so much. Thanking the late great Riky Rick, the duo shared that he had been instrumental in the negotiations expressing sadness that he didn’t get to see them ink the deal.
