Biography

Influenced by Afro Beats, Dancehall. Afro House / Afro Tech DJ WeAreiDyll Records label owner Bushman grew up to the sounds of electronic music. He started DJ’ing at the age of 18 years old, and after 6 months was getting his first booking. As a versatile DJ (being able to blend different genres of music without having to memorize them) became art for him. This optimism gave Bushman a foundation and he then decided to concentrate on the production and mixing of Afro House, Soulful House, and Deep House music.

He set up WeAreiDyll records in July 2018 and the label has gone from strength to strength branching out and releasing music from various artists across the globe as well as his own. Bushman has created a bridge for African artists to release their sounds in a European dominated market. Priding himself on communication between the label and the Artist, an integral element in cementing a professional relationship. This has garnered invaluable returns with some of the biggest releases making international Spotify and Apple music curated playlists. The exposure has supported the label in finding talented artists such as MoRendo, Shredder SA and Vistalesh, who have in turn gone on to have major successes with their releases in both Europe and Africa.
